Pawpaws can be fun and challenging to grow. The tree grows slowly it's first few years and may not fruit for 5-6 years. 2 trees within 20 ft of eachother are required for pollination. Pawpaw trees require shade their first 2 years, but will bear the most fruit in full sun.
